Walter Dorsey operated a Chevy dealership in Tekoa (TEE-koh), Wash., for 45 years, retiring in 1970. The business closed in 1990. Today the lot is an automobile graveyard. I found these rusty wrecks on the property, among others. The hillside above Tekoa, a wheat farming community, is carpeted with abandoned cars. Hundreds of them. No idea if the Dorsey family is connected but some people here sure have a thing for beater cars.
