Moving to north-central Washington in 2019 was a win-win. My wife Alisa got to move back to her home town. And I got to move closer to wheat country, my favorite photography landscape. This was a day photo trip I took last May on the Waterville Plateau, a half hour from where we live. It was the perfect day: Cotton candy clouds, songbirds, wheat fields in every direction. The pioneer house was on my left by the road as I took the photo above.
